"25 years ago this record came out on homestead/ dutch east ...recorded with the david barrick mobile and at john curley's (afghan whigs) place in cincinnati (ultrasuede) and at home. i played most of the bass tim welch played drums joel crisp played some bass... this is supposedly the second worst-selling homestead release after the first dinosaur album ... although over time i'm sure it has reached the number one worst-seller slot... so cheers to us and to those lovable folks at homestead who decided NOT TO MASTER the record ... AT ALL ... so now its been polished up a bit and disc two has some live recordings made at the time and a live version of the grid with glenn kotche on drums and pat niblick on keyboards. " - PK
